How it works
Four steps to set up, and then it repeats. The whole product is those four steps and a record of what they did.
Step 1
Open the pot
One pot, one currency, in your name. It is funded from your main BlackTax account and nothing else — there is no account picker in this app, and that is deliberate. Money in the pot is money that has already left everyday spending.
Step 2
List your people
A parent, a sibling, an aunt. For each one you record a pledge: an amount and a rhythm. Monthly, weekly, quarterly, annually, or none at all if the arrangement is occasional.
A pledge moves no money. It is what you told them.

Step 3
Set a schedule
The instruction that actually sends. Pick the people, the day, and either a fixed amount for each or a share of one total. Fixed is the default and the one to reach for.

Step 4
It runs
On the day, the pot pays. Everyone gets a record. You get four numbers that tell you where the month stands.
The four numbers
The app’s home screen, in four figures.
- In the pot
- Promised this month
- Sent this month
- Next
What is set aside right now.
Every active pledge, normalised to a month — weekly ×4.33, quarterly ÷3, annual ÷12.
What actually left the pot this calendar month.
When the next schedule fires, what it costs, and whether the pot covers it.
The one rule about the pot
Fed from one place only.
Main account
The owner's everyday money.
The pot
Ring-fenced. One per currency. By hand, on a top-up, or automatically.
A person's account
By hand, on a schedule, or an approved ask.
The pot is fed from your main account. Only ever from there. Automatic top-up — where a short run pulls the difference across for you — is off until you turn it on, and it has a cap you set.
For example
- Promised this month
- ₦95,000.00
- Sent this month
- ₦50,000.00
- Still to go
- ₦45,000.00
with 12 days left in the month
